Our Schools

The Faculty of Humanities is comprised of four schools. Each school has multiple departments which specialise in a wide array of degrees.


  • Teachers the focus of Curtin’s new MOOC

    Curtin University’s latest Massive Online Open Course (MOOC), titled Analytics for the Classroom Teacher, provides an introduction to the emerging field of learning and teaching analytics from the perspective of a classroom teacher.

  • Beacon Virtua shines light on WA’s dramatic shipwreck history

    A virtual reality simulation of Beacon Island in the Houtman Abrolhos Islands – site of the notorious Batavia shipwreck − will enable members of the public to explore and understand the tiny island’s dramatic place in Western Australian history.

    Curtin University lecturer Dr Lucy Dougan and Curtin alumna Brooke Davis have won awards at the 2016 Western Australian Premier’s Book Awards.
