Deborah Hunn was awarded a PhD from the University of Western Australia in 2001 and has taught in English, Communication and Cultural Studies at the University of Adelaide, UWA and, for the last decade, in Cultural Studies and Creative and Professional Writing and Publishing at Curtin University .

Her publications include short stories, poetry and critical essays on film, literature and popular culture.

Research Interests

Narrative theory; Queer theory; Creative Writing; Modernism/Postmodernism; Satire and Humour Writing; Experimental Writing; Creative Production as Research; Writing, Publishing and New Media Technologies; Fan Fiction and Fan Theory
