Dr Hyun Chang

Dr Chang has qualifications in business administration and currently coordinates Asian Studies Program at Curtin University of Technology. Before joining Curtin in 1995, he taught at Griffith University in 1990 and the University of Queensland (1991-1994). Dr Chang teaches widely in Asian Area Studies, while coordinating such units as Discovering Asia, Asian Religion and Philosophy, Communicating with Asia: Languages and Societies, Business Culture in Japan and Korea, and Engaging Asia.  

He has an extensive industry experience in international business with posts in both private and public sectors, and has been actively involved in consulting with major Australian organisations for language, cultural and marketing services. His research interests cover cross-cultural adjustment, international and Asian business cultures, Korea-related issues, and Asian religions and philosophies.
