Mr Hung Ky Nguyen

Hung is completing his PhD research in Japanese aesthetics. His PhD thesis topic is 'Aesthetics of Ambiguity and Mystery in late 20th Century Japanese Posters'

Hung has 17 years experience working for the design and advertising industry in Perth and Sydney before teaching at the Department of Design. His current responsibilities are teaching Design Experience, Design Practice and Engaging in Humanities to the undergraduate students in the School of Design and Art.

• Cultural analysis

Research Projects

Hung has been a cultural researcher and regular contributor to SBS Radio- Australia, and Khoahoc.net, a Website of Vietnamese professionals worldwide. Additionally, he has been an advisor for the Vietnamese Community in Western Australia since 2007.
