Katie Dunworth is an associate professor currently teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pragmatics and introductory linguistics.

Since joining Curtin in 1993 she has undertaken numerous roles including those of coordinator for customised and offshore programs, coordinator of the Curtin University Test of English, Deputy Director of the Centre for International English (1997-1999) and Head of the Department of Languages and Intercultural Education (2002-2004).

Research Interests

Her research interests include educational assessment, particularly in relation to language testing, language proficiency in a tertiary context and the internationalisation of higher education.
