Patricia has been employed with this department (formerly CIE) at Curtin since 1987. She spent ten years teaching on the ELICOS program, moving on to Foundation Studies, and is currently teaching on the English Language Bridging Programme.

Patricia has extensive language testing experience; she was the Western Australian Administrator for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) from 1993 to 2001, and has been the IELTS Senior Examiner for WA since 1996.
