Research Interests

PhD Thesis:

The Theatre of University Learning Spaces

A study of the need for, and design of, University learning spaces and how interaction between the academic and student may inform their design.

This study asks the question of whether face-to-face presentation and tuition continue to be an appropriate means of communicating knowledge and encouraging learning and, if so, how may university teaching spaces be designed to facilitate learning and encourage interaction between university students and their academics in those learning spaces?
