Communication & Cultural Studies
Communication and Cultural Studies (C&CS) offers a great range of theoretical and practical courses at undergraduate, diploma and post graduate levels. Our courses in literary and cultural studies are some of the most groundbreaking available in Western Australia, and, combined with our professional courses in creative and professional writing and performance studies these courses provide graduates with a solid foundation for their future careers.
We also offer very popular double degrees with Art, Media and Information (journalism, film and television), Education (secondary education), Commerce (public relations, marketing) and the Centre for Aboriginal Studies (Indigenous Australian cultural studies).
A degree in Communication and Cultural Studies gives students a substantial grounding in the production, publishing, analysis and criticism of print, theatre and creative writing as well a sound understanding of contemporary culture.
The program also offers a range of graduate courses, including Graduate Certificates and Diplomas, and creative as well as academic research based degrees such as the MA (Master of Arts), MCA (Master of Creative Arts), DCA (Doctor of Creative Arts) or a PhD.
