Professional Writing will appeal to those with a love of and flair for both fiction and non-fiction writing.

This major will prepare you for a writing career in the private, public and creative sectors through the study and practice of a range of different writing forms. You will learn the specifi c techniques behind writing specialised texts including feature articles, speeches, reports, discussion papers, travel writing, history, humour, writing for the Internet, promotional writing, creative non-fi ction and media releases.
