The reason why I chose to study at Curtin was because it was the only university to offer this degree.

Overall, the degree has given me a good insight into the many areas and career opportunities available within the construction industry. I believe our degree is well recognised within the construction industry giving us a valuable stepping stone for a career within the industry.

My highlights at Curtin, have included receiving two awards:

The degree has given me the confidence to go into the industry knowing that I have a good foundation of knowledge and that my degree is well recognised within the construction industry.

The lecturers within our department have an excellent working knowledge and valuable experience of their areas within the industry. Lecturers that stood out for their commitment were Alistair Reid, Gerry Postmous and Lindsey Castell.

I recommend studying this degree to others because as stated above, it gives an overview of the many areas available to work in within the industry and I believe it is well recognised by potential employers.
