I chose to study at Curtin because it has a good reputation among the technology universities, and I am attracted by the beautiful campus. My overall impression of Curtin is that the campus is wonderful, there is great support for design students, and a remarkable on-campus art gallery.
The overall design of the campus is brilliant, very well combined with nature. The environment definitely aided my growth as a designer, also acting as a fertilizer of concepts.

The staffs are the main part of the course. They put in effort to pass their knowledge onto us. Mark Lawson required a very high standard from his students, which ensures students are well equipped before getting into the cruel world. Keith Melbourne has a very attractive portfolio; Christopher Kueh is very knowledgeable and friendly; Kelvin Lockwood is the one who inspired me a lot about creative thinking; Martin Trevor encouraged students to go further, to expand their limit. All the staff I met in Curtin are very friendly, and willing to aid everyone
I have worked as a product designer since I graduated, and managing my own product line. My designs are mainly distributing by Fred, Kikkerland, Invotis and Nood.
My degree definitely help me in my career path. Curtin not only taught me the technical skills of a designer, also inspired me how a designer should work to achieve successful concepts. I will definitely recommend the degree to others, since the support and the planning of the course are well designed. I can hardly think of anywhere which can provide such an environment.
