I chose Curtin because we organised a group of school leaders to take part in lessons within our school district. Curtin showed a high degree of flexibility in meeting our needs. I had a brilliant time because I love learning.

My research was in an area of need in modern school leadership, so the highlight of my degree was making presentations around the world, publishing over 25 articles in Australia and overseas, and being flown interstate to make presentations in other school systems.

This degree has helped me stay at the cutting edge of educational change. A PhD is not everyone’s cup of tea. However my experiences were very rewarding. The support that I received from Curtin staff was outstanding. Special thank to Dr Rob Cavanagh who encouraged me to look at a more global market.

I am committed to lifelong learning and my students and teachers have benefited from this.
