Centre for Sport and Recreation Research

Initiated in 2009 as a collaboration of Curtin University and the Department of Sport and Recreation WA, the Centre for Sport and Recreation Research (CSRR) is an independent advocacy and research centre that generates applied research to inform public policy and practice in the field of sport and recreation.

The collaboration is at the forefront of explorative and applied research in sport and recreation. From climate change to club culture, technology to workplace health and public open space to urban planning this centre is about translating research into practical, usable outcomes to guide government and industry decision making and practice.
