Prizes and Awards

The prizes will be presented at a ceremony at the beginning of the following year.

Undergraduate Prizes

AIB Chapter Medal ($200 plus medal) - awarded to the student who has performed the most creditably in successfully completing the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

AIB Building Technology (1st year) prize  (value $400) - awarded to the student achieving the highest results in Building Technology 145 and Building Technology 146 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

AIB Building Technology (2nd year) prize  (value $400) - awarded to the student achieving the highest results in Building Technology 245 and Building Technology 246 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

AIB Building Technology (3rd  year) prize  (value $400) - awarded to the student achieving the highest results in Building Technology 343and Building Technology 344 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

AIB Building Technology (Overall) prize  (value $400) - awarded to the student achieving the highest results in the building technology stream in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

AIBS Prize (value $200 plus free registration and attendance at the AIBS/HIA Annual State Conference) - awarded by the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors to the student achieving the highest overall mark in the units Building Surveying 244 and Building Surveying 341 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

AIPM Prize (value $250) - awarded by the Australian Institute of Project Management to the student achieving the highest overall mark in the Project Management stream in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

The AIQS PATE Prize (worth $3,000) is awarded to a financial student member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors for outstanding ability while completing the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course. The Prize comprises a cash component of $2,000, and paid AIQS membership subscriptions for a period of up to three and a half years. 

Australian Institute of Building - John Roberts A.O. Prize ($10,000 for travel plus a framed certificate) - awarded to a student completing the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course who is an Australian Citizen and Permanent Resident; has consistently achieved above average academic performance over the duration of the course; consistently shown a high level of dedication and leadership ability; has as an ambition to extend studies / research in the Building and Construction Industry; has demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team; shown a commitment to the Building and Construction Industry in Western Australia; demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of the AIB and the Profession of Building and Construction Management; is a Student Member of the Australian Institute of Building and actively involved with the AIB Young Builders Alliance (WA-YBA ).

CSSP Pty Ltd's CHEOPS Estimating System Prize (value $150) - awarded to the student achieving the highest results in the CHEOPS component of the unit Contract Administration 342 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

Eclipse CS Pty Ltd EVEREST Prize (value $150) - awarded to the student achieving the highest results in the computing component of the unit Measurement 242 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction, Management and Economics) course.

David Tripp Prize (value $2,000) is awarded to the student obtaining the highest average results in the measurement stream  of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction, Management and Economics) course.

The Doric Constructions Prize (value $200) awarded for the student achieving the highest overall marks in completing the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

Downing Construction Support Services Prize (value $250) - awarded to the student achieving the highest marks in the building law and contract administration stream in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

The Master Builders' Association Prize (value $250) - awarded to the most outstanding third year student in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management and Economics) course.

NS PROJECTS PTY LTD (first year ) PRIZE (value $500) awarded to the student achieving the highest overall marks in completing the first year of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction, Management and Economics) course

NS PROJECTS PTY LTD (3rd year ) PRIZE (value $500) awarded to the student achieving the highest overall marks in the Project Management Steam in the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction, Management and Economics) course

Graduate Prizes

AIPM Master of Science (Project Management) Award (value $500) is awarded by the Australian Institute of Project Management to the graduating student achieving the highest overall marks in the Master of Project Management.

NS PROJECTS PTY LTD (Graduate Certificate ) PRIZE (value $500) awarded to the student achieving the highest overall marks in the Graduate Certificate of Project Management

PMI Project Management Capstone Prize (value $250) awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Western Australia Chapter to the student achieving the highest overall mark in the Project Management Capstone unit of the Master of Science (Project Management).

PMI Graduate Diploma  Prize (value $250) awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Western Australia Chapter to the student achieving the highest overall marks in the Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
