General Information
The Resource Centre is a support facility provided for students and staff of the School of Built Environment (SOBE) and School of Art and Design (SODA). The vibrancy of the School is created by the blend of cultural styles of students from South-East Asia, Australia and abroad. The Resource Centre is firmly committed to creating an environment where this vitality can be displayed, enjoyed and used to spark innovative changes to existing norms and practice. This commitment is in accordance with one of the goals of the University, namely Internationalisation. The energy created by this interplay of difference has been captured in the wealth of student work contained in the collection.
As professionals in the workplace, students will rely heavily on the information gathering skills they have acquired as students. The Resource Centre supports the School's teaching and learning objectives through the development of information literacy skills for all students, the provision of specific course related materials in varying formats.
