Department of Art

The Department of Art is a major centre for visual arts education in Australia as well as internationally.

Our students have access to first class facilities and technical support for practical work in a wide range of media. In addition to this our students have ample opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience in presenting art work to the public through the John Curtin Gallery; the largest and best equipped exhibition space of any University in Australia, and through the Department's links with local art agencies and institutions.
