Department of Art, Curtin University, Short Courses

The Department of Art has a history of over 100 years of producing leading Australian Artists. Graduates exhibit all over the world in leading Galleries and Exhibitions.

Our Short Course Program offers courses of varying length and discipline to the wider community. These courses are an exciting opportunity to have specialist guidance from some of our leading arts educators and practicing Artists in Western Australia.

Why study a Short Course?

The reasons for taking a Short Course are varied: Artists come to widen their knowledge and skills base in particular areas, others come to reignite their love of Art and creativity when life has gotten in the way, others to enable them to bridge the gap for further study in Art, and some for fun and the opportunity for a creative outlet.
