Offer your students a cutting-edge experience in their pursuit and study of Art, and investigate the many options available for Curtin University’s High School Art Program 2011/2012

The Department of Art has a history of over 100 years of producing leading Australian Artists. Graduates exhibit all over the world in leading Galleries and Exhibitions.

Our High School Workshops Program 2011/12, offers intensive 1, 2 or 3 day workshops to Students in Years 10, 11 and 12. These courses are an exciting opportunity to have specialist guidance from some of our leading Arts Educators and Practicing Artists in Western Australia, and gain an experience of Art, art making and Art Theory at Tertiary level, geared toward Secondary students. Bookings are now open for 2010/2011

These workshops are designed for Secondary level students to maximize their creative output in their Art practice. This opportunity provides students with an intensive and inspiring way to kick start productivity in their Art practice, particularly if booked in the beginning of the school term in February.

Costs will vary according to the specified schedule for your school. We offer a tailored program to suit your students’ level and mode of study, and the class theme, in accordance with the Curriculum Council’s Tee Art Curriculum.

Generally, costs are between $80-$100 per student for 1 day, $130-$180 per student for 2 days, and $150-$200 per student for 3 days. These terms are, however, variable and dependent on how staff intensive your requirements are and how many students are in attendance. The cost can also include catering for meals.

We can also potentially arrange for accommodation if you wish to recreate an authentic camp atmosphere, through the Curtin Vickery or student accommodation.

You will receive an invoice from Curtin after the event, once we can confirm final numbers of attendance.
