International Design Out Crime conference, iDOC'09

The inaugural International Design Out Crime conference, iDOC'09 will be held in Perth on December 2-4th and hosted by the Design Out Crime Research Centre. Conference chairs are Dr. Terence Love (SODA), Dr Paul Cozens (SOBE), Assoc Prof Trudi Cooper (ECU) and Dr Pamela Henry (ECU).

Deadline for abstracts: No abstract review process
Deadline for papers: 30 September 2009
There is a rolling review process already started. If presenters need review outcomes early (early bird or to buy flights etc) then if they submit early they will be reviewed early.

Writing Intersections

The pedagogy stream will address the practical challenges of writing Art, Media and Design in/for/about Further and Higher Education. The theoretical stream will address substantive issues for the three fields regarding intersections between writing practices and each field.
