Welcome to the School of Social Sciences and Asian Languages. The Bachelor of Social Science provides students with the opportunity to develop a solid foundation in one or two of the core disciplines of Anthropology, Geography, History, Politics & International Relations and Sociology and to acquire research, analytical and communication skills transferable to a variety of occupational fields in business, industry and government. Besides the five discipline program, Social Sciences also offers a Development Studies major.

The Department of Asian Languages courses are a starting point for a future that is internationally focused, culturally aware and full of career opportunities.
