How to request an Interview and Folio Review
If you are applying for entry into the Bachelor of Applied Science (Architectural Science) you are required to contact the Department of Architecture and Interior Architecture no later than 5 December 2016 and request an interview date and time.
The department will contact you with the details of your interview once it has been scheduled.
- what to expect
- what to bring
- what we would like to see from you in the interview
Your interview will give you the opportunity to tell us about your passion for architecture and what you would like to gain during your study at Curtin.
In order to assess your design proficiency we require an Architectural Design folio (physically or electronically) that includes completed projects from all completed years of study. The folio should demonstrate architectural design and communication knowledge and skill.
For assessment of technical proficiency we require an architectural technology folio (physically or electronically) that includes projects from all completed years of study. The folio should demonstrate and communicate knowledge of science and construction and their integration in design projects.
The interview will last for approximately 15 minutes, during which you will present and discuss your folio and any other work relating to architecture that you may have.
