Alister Yiap, BA (Product, Furniture and Jewellery Design)

The Key to the City of Perth was custom designed by Yiap out of Jarrah and silver-plated brass hardware. The geometric aesthetic of the key emulates digital pixels which Yiap says is “reminiscent of the digital age”. The City of Perth crest is used as an emblem, and simplistic, P’s for Perth are cleverly designed into many components of the key design. Read more

Sheridan Joyce, BA (Fashion)

Curtin University Fashion honours student Sheridan Joyce has recently been named as a finalist in the 2015 Frankfurt Style Award, the only representative from Australia in this year’s fashion contest. Her entry piece, entitled Alchemy, consists of a dress and jacket. Read more
