Courses available for portfolio entry

Art and Design: If you’re a creative person and love to express yourself through different media, consider studying an arts and design course at Curtin. The Bachelor of Arts is comprehensive and flexible, with options to accommodate various interests. You will be required to participate in an interview. If you perform well in the first year core units, you could later apply to switch into one of our many other courses within the Bachelor of Arts.

Education: If you want to help others reach their full potential, our education courses can help you get there. Through a primary education degree, you will learn the skills, knowledge and experience to teach children aged five to eleven. Only limited places are available in this course and an interview will also be required. The primary education course shares a common first year with the early childhood education course, and you can apply to transfer to early childhood education at the end of your first year if you choose.

Media and Communications: Our media and communications courses within the Bachelor of Arts are flexible and comprehensive, offering practical experience, which accommodates a wide range of interests and ensures you are career-ready upon completion. If you perform well in the first year core units, you could later apply to switch into one of our many other courses.

Interior Architecture: This course provides you with a solid foundation in the visual communication, theoretical design theory, and technical knowledge of construction and building systems.
